Dunedin Stock Exchange COLONIAL SUGARS EASIER Approximately £3OOO worth of securities were reported sold on the share market yesterday Bank shares claimed the major attention. Bank of Australasia shares sold steady at £ll ss, Union Banks were a shade easier at £ll 3s. and Commercial Banks were unchanged at 23s 6d. Two lines of NZ Paper Mills were sold steady at 35s 6d, and Dominion Rubbers had their first ex dividend sale at 22s 9d. being almost equivalent to the last cum dividend sale. Colonial Sugars again sold easier with business at £6l ss, and there was no market for the shares in the afternoon. Meat shares were in good demand with offers of 19s 3d for NZ Refrigerating (sellers 19 s 6d, and 66s being tendered for Southland Frozen Meat ordinary and preference shares. There was a seller of the ordinary issue at 695. DIC ordinary, in which there has been recent heavy dealing, had buyers still offering 33 S 9d without attracting further sellers. Dalgety and Co. were 11s 9d (buyer) and 12s 3d (seller), and a vestibule deal seemed likely. DUNEDIN
