LANGUID LISTENERS
Sir, —I was at the Gardens on Sunday and was struck by two things—the improvement shown by the Ladies’ Band in the last year or so, and the fact that there was hardly any applause for their items. Is the public here too lazy or too mean to applaud? Believe me, It was well worth a clap.—l am, etc.. The Man Who Clapped.
