WOOL RESEARCH
Expansion Planned
The New Zealand Wool Board, the New Zealand Woollen Mills Research Association and the University of Otago intend to examine the posibilities of expanding research in wools at the Otago University. Particular emphasis has been placed by meetings of the three groups in these proposals:— The continuation of the Wool Board Fellowship ,at the University of Otago. The establishment of a lectureship in wool technology associated with research.
The Wool Board has contributed to the work of the University for three years, and will continue to do so this year. It also intends to consider expanding fundamental research at the University in connection with crossbred wools if a suitable man can be obtained.
