Shortly after the Secretary of State for Commonwealth Relations, Mr P. C. Gordon-Walker, arrived in Dunedin yesterday he was entertained by the Overseas League. In this photograph, Mr Walker is seen with the Mayor, Sir Donald Cameron. Mr H. Smedley, a secretary of the United Kingdom High Commissioner’s office, Wellington, is on the left, and in the centre are Miss E. J. Emery (principal private secretary) and Miss K. Hillier (stenographer), both of London.
