Marshall Sets New Zealand Record

PA AUCKLAND. July 20. Playing brilliantly, K. Marshall (Australia) defeated A. Bull (Australia) by 1940 points to 922 in a match in the Australian and New Zealand billiards championship today. Marshall registered a New Zealand record by compiling five breaks of over 200 in two daily sessions. His best breaks were 107, 217, 207, 229, 206, and 258. He averaged 42 points per cue. Bull’s average was 19.5, his best breaks being 97 and 96.
