SKYMASTER FOLLOWED

Soviet Fighters’ Action BERLIN INCIDENT NZPA—Reuter Rec. 11.30 p.m. LONDON, June 10. Three Soviet jet fighters yesterday afternoon continuously “buzzed” an American Skymaster transport plane which was flying to Berlin, according to the West German news agency report. ' The report said that Russian fighters followed the American aircraft, which was circling before landing, right up to the Templehof airport. Witnesses said the fighters made' “ practice attacks ” at a low altitude even while the Skymaster was preparing to land. The American pilot said at first the fighters had not ’ approached too closely, so he had not considered their practice flight as an attack. American authorities said this was the third incident of the kind within a short period. Inter-Allied air security headquarters in Berlin have been informed of the incident.
