ROCKET WEAPON RANGE
Cost Of Australian Project Rec. 8.20 p.m. LONDON, May, 16. The British Government had budgeted to spend £25,000.000 developing the Australian rocket weapon range, says the Daily Express. The Australian Government has undertaken to contribute another £25,000,000. Four subsidiary ranges are being set up for special weapon developments. The newspaper says these _ figures were top secret until revealed in a report by Lieutenant-colonel J. A. Caddy, a Supply Ministry official attached to the Australian project.
