Snow On The Hills The official weather forecast issued by the Government Meteorologist in Wellington is:— Situation.—A deep depression is centered off the Otago coast. Forecast to 5 p.m.—Fresh to strong south-east winds; weather dull, with snow on the hills and rain elsewhere; temperatures becoming colder. Weather in Dunedin.—Two hours twelve minutes of sunshine was recorded in the city yesterday, and the wind was light from the north-east. The maximum temperature was 57.$ degrees and the minimum was 50.5 degrees. Pressure was rising last night, the barometer reading at midnight being 29.56 inches.
