SOUTHLAND MATCH
Green Jersey For Home Team PA INVERCARGILL, May 16. When the Southland team takes the field for its match against the British team on May 23, the familiar maroon jerseys will be replaced by green jerseys, which will be supplied by a northern sub-union. This was stated at the meeting of the Management Committee of the Southland Rugby Football Union last night. The colours of the British team are scarlet, and the change has been made so that there will be no confusion on the field.
