MISTAKE ADMITTED

Tickets Replaced

PA INVERCARGILL, May 16. “ It was a mistake in the first place, the tickets have been sent back and replaced by better seats in the main stand.” Mr E. S Wilson, secretary of the Otago Rugby Union, said when the message from Invercargill complaining about the allocation of seats to the Southland union for the first test was referred to him today. Mr Wilson said that 50 seats were all that the Otago union could spare. It had to make an allocation to all neighbouring unions and their sub-unions, and to the New Zealand Union and to the British team. “You cannot put 5000 people into 2000 seats,” he commented.
