Roslyn Ratepayers' Association
Mr W. J. Bell was in the chair at the monthly meeting of the Roslyn and Kaikorai Ratepayers’ Association held last night. The meeting was poorly attended. It was decided to draw the City Council’s attention to the state of the children’s playground at Nairn street, where broken glass presented a danger. Satisfaction was expressed with the City Council’s proposals in rfegard to shower facilities at the Ellis Park Pavilion. It was resolved to request the chief postmaster to improve telephone facilities at the corner of Nairn and Shetland streets by having a double box installed.
