SEVERE WOUNDS
Two Sisters In Hospital PA CHRISTCHURCH, May 15. Two sisters are lying in hospital, neither of them in a serious condition, as the result of an incident at their home at 82 Matipo street, Riccarton, on Saturday afternoon. They are Miss Bertha Ede (40) and Miss Doris Ede (34). Miss B. Ede, who is in Burwood Hospital, is suffering from severe cuts about the face, while her sister, in the Christchurch Hospital, is suffering from cuts about the throat. Shortly after 3 p.m. on Saturday the St. John Ambulance and the police were summoned to the house. On arrival they found that both sisters were suffering from severe wounds, believed to have been inflicted by a razor. The sisters were immedately removed to hospital, and this afternoon their condition was reported as satisfactory.
