Keen interest was taken in the sale by auction by Janies Samson and Co. yesterday of a five-ioomed dwelling situated, at'the cornet of Brunei street and Glen avenue Mornington. The house, which was an old one, is on a section of 30 poles and vacant possession was guaranteed. Bidding opened at £BOO, and the property was finally sold to Mr J. A. Asher for £1259. A five-roomed house arid kitchenette on an area ot one rood, at No. 39 Malvern stre-t, Woodhaugh. was sold at auction bv Alex Harris, Ltd., yesterday for £1675 The house, for which immediate possession could be obtained, was a villa in good order, and it elicited strong competition,
