New Zealand Breweries DUNEDIN STOCK EXCHANGE A good level of trading, particularly for the opening day of the week, was achieved on the Dunedin Stock Exchange yesterday. A renewed enthusiasm for New Zealand Breweries held them firm at 48s 6d in contrast to a decidedly weakening trend in the last trading period, and a total of 350 shares were taken. New Zealand Insurance were reported sold at £5 Bs, and more were offering, but other insurance issues were quiet. Kaiapoi Woollen were dearer at 28s 9d and closed with buyers and sellers straddling the sale figure with 3d margins. The current weakness in Milburn Limes brought the selling price to 35s Gd, an odd Jot changing hands, and the market closed with buyers and sellers ranged Gd on either side. Donaghy's Rope were quoted at 63s (buyer) and 64s 3d (seller) after the circulation of the balance sheet, and'Mount Morgan stepped to a higher level—buyer 20s lOd. seller 21s Id—on the strength of the final April return which was of record proportions.
