Overcast Near The Coast The official weather forecast issued by the Government Meteorologist in Wellington is:— /' Situation.—A deep depression covers the Tasman Sea. Forecast to 5 p.m.—Moderate northeast winds, fresh on the coast; weather fair to cloudy inland: overcast near the coast, with patches of drizzle or fog, chiefly this morning; temperatures cool. Weather in Dunedin. —Conditions were changeable in Dunedin during the weekend and it was not until yesterday that any sunshine was recorded during the period. On Saturday the maximum temperature was 51.1 deg and the minimum 47.6 deg. Yesterday the maximum temperature was 56.8 deg and the minimum 43.9 deg. There were three hours and a-half of sunshine, and -the total rainfall up till 9.30 a.m. was 0.24 in. A north-easterly wind prevailed. • The barometer reading at midnight yesterday was 29.851 n.
