FALL FROM TRUCK
Schoolgirl Killed PA AUCKLAND, May 14. A 15-year-old schoolgirl was killed this morning when she fell off a truck and the vehicle ran over her. She was Noelene Coughland, a pupil of the Seddon Memorial Technical College, whose parents live at Remuera. With two other children, Noelene was standing on the tray of the truck, which was travelling at a slow speed along a straight stretch of road in Rangiriri. The children all had their hands on the driver’s cab. but it is believed that Noelene fell over the side of the tray. She was killed instantly.
