CITY FIRE CALLS
Minor damage by fire was caused to the interior of a house in Hyde street, Dunedin, yesterday afternoon by an electric iron which had been left on. The Central Fire Brigade answered the call shortly after 4 o'clock. The brigade also attended a chimney fire in Colston street at 4.53 p.m. and a rubbish fire in Jubilee Park at 6.4 p.m.
