Metropolitan Meetings
Special to the Daily Times CHRISTCHURCH, May 12. The New Zealand Metropolitan Trotting Club has applied for the following racing dates for next season:—Grand National meeting, August 19 and 26; New Zealand Cup meeting, November 7, 10, and 18; inter-dominion championship meeting, February 10, 14 17, and 24.
Lisnaskea, a candidate for the Plunket Stakes is a colt by Jack Potts from Symphony, a Rey de Oro mare from Knockninny Belle, bv Logan Pointer from Edie Mac. bv Harold Dillon from Mabel, by Young Irvington. He Is a solid type and should develop into a smart four-year-old.
