Depleted Supplies Augmented

A small shipment of Australian lemons is expected to reach Oamaru early next week. There are not many Delicious apples reaching the market, the majority coming forward being of small size. Tree tomato supplies are increasing slightly, and these are meeting with a steady demand. Prices ruling during the week were:— . , . Pears: Winter Coles, 8s half-case, 20s bushel case; Winter Nelis, 18s small sized. 20s case. Tomatoes: Local hothouse, Is to Is 8d lb; outside, 3d to 9d lb. Passion fruit, 11s to 15s case.
