Merino Ram Imported
Mr R. K. Ireland has imported a stud merino ram from the Haddon Rig Stud, New South Wales. The ram arrived by rail yesterday, via Wellington. Mr Ireland has been buying stud ewes and rams from Haddon Rig for the past 15 years for his Ribbonwood Stud. This Australian stud is held in high regard by stud breeders and woolgrowers because of the type of wool which distinguishes the Haddon Rig sires.
