BUSINESS WOMEN’S CLUB

At the fortnightly meeting on Monday of the Dunedin Business and Professional Women’s Club the president, in her opening remarks, said it had been noted with pleasure that the club's three delegates—Misses V. Hayward, F. Wood and K. Earland —had been elected as members of the executive of the National Council of Women (Dunedin branch). Mr Robert Aitken gave an interesting account of his experiences in Norway while attending the Scout gathering there. He laid special stress on the value of such a gathering in fostering a true spirit of friendship and co-operation among the lads of so many different nationalities.
