Dr and Mrs R. S. Aitken have left for a short holiday at Wanaka. Miss Lily Stevens was hostess at a morning tea party yesterday at the Savoy in honour of Miss Joan Watts, visiting examiner for the Royal Academy of Dancing. Among the New Zealanders presented to their Majesties at a presentation parly at Buckingham Palace on Wednesday afternoon were Miss Ann Borrie, of North Otago, and Miss Mary Byars, of Gore.
