Few Sales Recorded DUNEDIN STOCK EXCHANGE The first reported sales of long-dated New Zealand Government Stock for almost tnree weeks were registered on the Dunedin Stock Exchange yesterday, but no further buyers were offering for other than the two 4 per cent, short-dated issues. Business was again quiet, and was limited to six deals. Commercial Bank preference eased on the selling quotation to close £9 7s 6d offered and £9 12s 6d asked, and Felt and Textiles of New Zealand ordinary were easier to buy, the seller quoting'“at 395. Huddart, Parker ordinary narrowed to 52s (buyer) and 54s (seller), and there was a further sale of the preference issue steady at 27s 3d. Colonial Sugar, quoted on an ex dividend basis, had a morning market’ of 63J offered, 65) asked. Wilsons Cement, " cum ’’ 4d dividend, were on offer at 18s 3d, the buyer offering 17s 9d. The “ rights ” to Woolworths, Ltd., improved to sales at 13s Bd.
