MOTION REJECTED
Ban On Communist Activities In Canada Rec. 9 p.m. OTTAWA, May 9. The House of Commons today rejected a motion calling for the outlawing of Communist and similar activities in Canada. The voting was 147 to 32. The motion was put forward by the Opposition Progressive Conservative Party.
