D Willis, S.M., told Molly Bissett, aged 34, a cook, when she appeared in the Magistrate’s Court yesterday charged on two informations with the theft of £5 13s in money, the property of Henry Patrick Dunne. White appeared, was remanded until tomorrow on three charges of false pretences and a charge of the breach of his probation order. The magistrate said that in view of the heavy costs he would not impose a fine. On a similar charge, Gordon Noel Jack was fined £2 with costs (13s). lan Robert Caldow for parking over a fire plug was fined 20s with costs (10s). A fine of £2. with costs (10s) was imposed on Leonard John Rankin on a charge of failing to give way at a pedestrian crossing. For crossing a railway line when it was not clear, Frederick Leonard Duncan was fined 10s with costs (10s).
