Local Trotting Branch Favours Mid-week Racing
A meeting of the North Otago Trotting Owners, Trainers and Breeders’ Association on Tuesday night decided to sunjiort mid-week racing for metropolitan clubs to enable extra Saturdays to become available for clubs in the smaller centres. This decision was reached after a letter had been received Irom the New Zealand Association seeking the opinion of district associations on the question of midweek racing in view of the extra days being allotted to trotting.
