TRACTOR DRIVER KILLED
Formerly Of Waitahuna PA WAIPUKURAU, May 9. Knocked off the seat by a piece of scrub, a tractor driver was killed when run over by a set of discs at a Wallingford farm near Waipukurau, yesterday. He was Willian Gilbert Crane, single, aged 28, a son of Mr and Mrs W. B. Crane, of Waitahuna. There were no witnesses of the accidfent. but searchers found the body late last night in rough scrub country 60 yards from the tractor, which had dug itself into a bank, with the engine still running. The injuries indicated that the discs towed by the tractor passed over the body. The inquest was adjourned after identification.
