The Dunedin Homing Pigeon Club flew the Young Bird Derby Race from Ashburton. an airline distance of 150 miles Fine weather enabled the birds to put up a velocity of 1375 yards a minute. The placings are as follows:—J. Scoullar’s Jack’s Pal 1, P. Patersons Prospect 2. M. Anderson’s Western Star 3, H. Millard's White Star 4, J. Williams's Curious
