English And Scottish Soccer CHAMPIONS ANNOUNCED Rec. 7 p.m. . LONDON, May 6. The positions of the leading and relegated clubs in the English and Scottish soccer season, which ended today resulted: League I:—Champions, Portsmouth: runners-up, Wolverhampton Wanderers. The two bottom clubs, Birmingham City and Manchester City have been relegated to League 11. League ll:—Champions, Tottenham Hotspurs; runners-up, Sheffield Wednesday. Both clubs promoted to League I. The bottom clubs were Plymouth Argyle, relegated to League 111 (Southern), and Bradford, to League 111 (Northern). League lll:—Southern-Notts County, the champions, promoted to League 11.
