Cold And Changeable
The official weather forecast issued by ' the Government Meteorologist in Wellington is:— Situation.—An anti-cyclone is moving on to the South Island from the south-west. Forecast to 5 p.m.—Fresh southwesterly winds; weather cold and changeable with occasional showers, but increasing fair intervals. Further Outlook.—Fair and cold. Weather in Dunedin.—Temperatures were cold yesterday, the maximum' being 58.5 deg and the minimum 46deg. No rain was recorded in the 24 hours to 9 a.m., but 0.23 inches fell in the next nine hours. The sun shone for four hours and the wind was from the southwest. The barometer reading at midnight was 29.55 inches.
