ANZAC DAY

Services In Dunedin H . \ ] PLANS COMPLETED Arrangements have now been completed for the customary Anzac Day services on April 25. A dawn service will be held at the Cenotaph at 6.30 a.m., and will be attended by the High Commissioner for Australia, Mr A. R. Cutler, V.C., who will also be the speaker at the afternoon service. For the function at the Cenotaph in the early afternoon, the parade will form up in Moray place and march to the Queen’s Gardens. The order of parade will be the Dunedin Highland Pipe Band, Australian delegation, RSA executive, ex-service women, South African War veterans, Great War veterans, Kaikorai Brass Band, further detachment of Great War veterans, exImperials (all services). Boys’ Brigade, Burns Pipe Band, RNZNVR, Sea Scouts, army detachment, St. Kilda Band, RSA Choir. World War II veterans. Red Cross detachment, ATC Drum and Trumpet Band, ATC, St. John’s detachment. The Legion of Frontiersmen will have four sent: As posted at the Cenotaph, and'the Dunedin Ladies’ Brass Band will be present at the gardens.

After the function at the Cenotaph, the parade will move to the Town Hall for the memorial service at 3 p.m. The service will be conducted by Principal A. L. Haddon, and the speaker will be Mr A. R. Cutler, V.C.
