Tightening Of Control
Rec 9.30 p.m. CAPETOWN; Apl. 3. South African diamonds will be sold for dollars only except for direct purchases in Britain. The Treasury announced the tightening up on control on diamond sales to prevent soft currency countries buying diamonds for sterling then reselling them for dollars.
