DUNEDIN FOOTBALL CLUB

A good financial position was shown at the annual meeting of the Dunedin Rugby Football Club last night. Among the large gathering present were the club's three life members. Messrs “ Clem ” Beck. A. Mrs C. M. Ross, of Porarari settlement between Greymouth and Westport, has a banana tree growing on her property. The tree is an unusual sight in the South Island. Not only is the tree alive and thriving, but it has produced a large bunch of bananas, and these are also doing well.
