WOMEN’S CRICKET
Sir, —Of interest to “ Ex-Otagoite,” the Otago team which took part in the " Cricket Week ” at Wellington last week was not chosen by selectors, nor did they travel with the permission of their executive. As to the inclusion of the Southland players, it is pleasing to know that they recently became affiliated with' the Otago Association. “ Ex-Otagoite ” is no more disgusted than those more directly concerned with the organising of women s cricket in Otago. The team mentioned played only as an unofficial team and was definitely not an Otago first eleven.—l am, etc.. , Ex-Rep.
