Mayor Suggests A Floral Clock For This City
“ I am going to present a report on civic matters later to the City Council, but there are two amenities in Edinburgh which I would like to see here,” said the Mayor, Sir Donald Cameron, at the civic reception held in his honour last evening. “ They are the Olympic outdoor swimming baths and the floral clock in Princess Street Gardens. I would like to see a similar clock in our own city, possibly called the Edinburgh Clock.”
