Cancellation Of Visit By Eminent Actor Confirmed
Dunedin will definitely not see the eminent British actor, Robert Morley, during his current tour with his own play, 1 “Edward My Son.” As announced by the Daily Times last week, there was a probability that the 28-week visit to Australia and New Zealand would be too short and that some centres would have to be omitted. A telegram received from J. C. Williamson’s representative last night stated that confirmation of an opening date in Wellington was still being awaited, “but, owing to the short visit to New Zealand, we regret that it will be impossible to include Dunedin in the tour.”
