TEACHERS AS PUPILS
WEEK'S REFRESHER COURSE
PA AUCKLAND, Jan, 17. Two hundred secondary school teachers now arriving in Auckland from all over the Dominion will turn “pupils" for a week, starting on Thursday. Refresher courses in mathematics and engineering begin then at King's College and Otahuhu College. The classes will be conducted and lectures given by post-primary teachers. Education Department officers, university lecturers and business men’. Ninety-two men and 24 women will live at King’s College, and the other 84 privately. The two courses in Auckland will be simultaneous with others organised by the Education Department in whole or part in Dunedin and at the Waitaki Boys’ High School, the Feilding High School and Massey Agricultural College.
