NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS
AUSTRALIAN CONTESTANTS PA WELLINGTON, Dec. 29. The two Australian tennis players now expected to take part in the New Zealand championships at Christchurch next month are G. Worthington (New South Wales) and T. Warhurst (South Australia). Cabled advice of this has been received by the chairman of the Management Committee of the New Zealand Lawn Tennis Association Mr A. H. Richards. Worthington and K. McGregor were originally expected, but the Australian Lawn Tennis Association refused permission for them to come. The new advice thus means a reversal of that decision in the case of Worthington.
