The New Zealand Chess Congress was continued today, when the games adjourned from the second and third rounds and all the fourth-round games were completed. Results in the New Zealand Championship:— Third Round—Dr B. M. Cwilong drew with D. C. M. Manson. D. I. Lynch beat J. A. Moir, Dr P. Allerhand beat A. L. Fletcher, C. P. Belton beat W. E. Moore, N. T. Fletcher beat R. E. Baeyertz, H. McNabb drew with R. O. Scott.
Fourth Round.—Baeyertz beat Moir. N. T. Fletcher beat Belton, Moore beat Manson. Dr P. Allerhand beat Lynch, A. L. Fletcher drew with Scott. Dr Cwilong beat McNabb. The leading scores are:—New Zealand Championship: Allerhand 3, Cwilong 2h, A. L. Fletcher 2£, N. T. Fletcher 2i, Lynch 2£. Major Open Tournament: L. Esterman 4, F. Beamish 3J, E. V. Stack 3.
