Malayan Breaks Empire Weight-lifting Record
Rec. 9 p.m. SINGAPORE, Dec. 28. Tho Fook Hung, of Penang, lifted 6551 b in the Malayan athletic championships held at Ipoh, breaking the British Empire Bantam-weight record by 43ilb. Fook Hung is one of the four weight-lifters who will represent Malaya at the Empire Games in Auckland in February.
