STRATFORD SCRATCHINGS

PA NEW PLYMOUTH, Dec. 28. Horses previously balloted out from two events at the Stratford Racing Club’s meeting on January 2 were reincluded among the runners today as a result of scratchings. Warrant Officer was brought back into the First Trial Stakes to replace Sea Lion, which was scratched at 3 p.m., and horses still balloted out of this race in order of re-entry are Balcedar 8.5, Ella Lee, Sunset Glow, Lady, Paddy, Lovely Rosa, Rosma 8.2. Silver Cane, the only horse balloted out of the Stratford Cup, returned to the field when Robin’s Reward was scratched at 2 p.m.
