JOCKEY RIDES WINNING DOUBLE FINAL DAY AT TARANAKI PA NEW PLYMOUTH, Dec. 27. The Taranaki Jockey Club’s Christmas meeting concluded at New Plymouth today in fine weather, the track being fast. The leading jockey, N. B. Holland, rode the winning double, Ozami and Red Hero, which returned £l4 for a pound. The totalisator, including the double totalisator of £2150, was £56,210, against £45,258 10s last year. The total for the meeting was £115,766 10s. against £102.895 10s last year. Results:— Tarata Hurdles Handicap, of £3OO. One mile and a-half.—l/1 Moutoa Lord, 10.12 (J. L. Jenkins), 1; 2/1" Saffron Walden, 9.12 (R. Samson), 2: 6/5 Redfort, 9.7 (G. Hunt) 3.
