THIRD DAY AT AWAPUNI PA PALMERSTON N., Dec. 27. The Manawatu summer meeting was concluded in fine weather before a large attendance and the course, after rain during the night, was fast. The totalisator handled £88,277, including £5569 for the double, compared with £79,802 on the third day last year. The total for the meeting was £295,690 compared with £275,438 last year.
