KERRY LAD DESTROYED
NZPA—Copyright SYDNEY, Dec. 27. The former New Zealand racehorse, Kerry Lad, who broke down after passing the post in the Summer Cup at Randwick, has been destroyed. The veterinary surgeon reported that Kerry Lad fractured a near hind shin. The rider, A. Hazletoin, who had a harmless fall, said he felt the horse falter about a furlong from home.
