Skelton, was in fine form at Wingatul. yesterday, winning three races on end on Night Owl, Open Sky and High Spirits., He rode Airshaft to victory on the fiist day of the meeting, as, well as whipping home several place-getters. G. W. Wright, rider of Western Winner, winner of the Flying Handicap, was severely reprimanded for riding over-confld-ently at the finish of the race. For failing to notify the lease of the horse Rising' Glory, who raced in the Hopeful Handicap; Dr M. G. Louisson, of Christchurch, was fined £5.
