CANDIDATE FOR PARLIAMENT
MR RANDOLPH CHURCHILL LONDON, Dec. 26. Mr Randolph Churchill, son of Mr Winston Churchill, has been adopted as the Conservative and National Liberal candidate for the Devonport constituency, at present represented by one of the most militant younger members of the Labour Party, Mr Michael Foot. At the 1945 election Mr Foot defeated the former Minister for War, Mr Leslie Hore-Belisha, by a majority of just over 2000.
