There was no activity on the waterfront yesterday, but the men will resume today and continue until noon on Friday. Work will not be taken up again until the first Wednesday in the New Year. Most of the ships at present in port should be completed before the week-end and, appropriately, a new ” start should be possible next week. Advice has been received that the tanker Chocktaw-Trail should arrive in Dunedin tomorrow.
