CHIEF WINNER AT GORE GUNSMOKE’S SURPRISE PA GORE, Dec. 26. The Gore Trotting Club's annual meeting was held today in showery weather, which deteriorated during the afternoon. The seventh race was run in a thunderstorm of tropical violence, and the final event was held up for half an hour until the weather cleared. The track was fast at the beginning of the meeting but became a sea of mud for the last race. The attendance was a record. The totalisator handled £37,967, compared with £39,527 last year.
