Gift Of A Hunting Lodge In Kenya To Princess And Duke
NZPA—Copyright Rec. 9 p.m. LONDON, Nov. 23. Princess Elizabeth and the Duke of Edinburgh will have their own hunting lodge in Kenya within easy reach of big game and good fishing. The Government of Kenya to-day approved the building of a lodge to cost £2OOO as a wedding present to the royal couple.
The lodge will have a pleasant view of Kenya woodlands, its grounds running down to the Sagana River. The building will be of bungalow type, with accommodation to include the royal suite, an equerry’s suite, and a lounge and dining room: Tnere is no indication at present that the Princess intends visiting Kenya in the near future. ■ ■
