STRUCK BY CAR
ELDERLY WOMAN KILLED PA CHRISTCHURCH, Nov. 17. While walking along the Main North road about two miles north of Kaiapoi this afternoon, an elderly woman was knocked down by a motor car and suffered injuries from which she died a few minutes later. She was Mrs Clara May Burrows, whose home is about two miles north of Kaiapoi. . Mrs Burrows had been to Kaiapoi and was returning home. When the accident occurred, at about 4 p.m., she was only 15 yards from her gate. Mrs Burrows is survived by her husband and an adult family.
